– Create Membership Account and Log In

  • There is no charge to create a Membership Account and Log-In
    • A Payment Account with a valid credit card on file is required to Submit Listings as a Seller or to Bid on Listings as a Bidder
  • A User Number (Paddle Number) will automatically be assigned
    • The User Number will be displayed in the User Account Section, in your posted Auction History Emails and normally on all Platform Communications
    • It is used in place of your Name / User Name on public postings to protect your privacy
  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is offered as an additional security measure to protect Bidder and Seller Accounts
    • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security system that requires Two separate, distinct forms of identification in order to access your account
    • The first Factor is your password and the second is an email and/or text with a code sent to you to enter as confirmation

    • C = Good (Listing has a number of identifiable flaws, is fully operational, has received normal maintenance & care i.e. “Daily User”)
    • D = Fair (Listing has significant flaws, wear & tear, may have operational issues, may need maintenance & repairs, etc. i.e. “Project”)
    • F = Poor (Listing is incomplete, non-operational and/or severely compromised i.e. “Parts / Donor”)

    • CARFAX Reports provide Confidence, Transparency and Reassurance to potential Buyers
    • If Seller has a current CARFAX, it may be uploaded with the Listing
    • If Seller does not possess a current CARFAX, Exclusive will obtain a CARFAX Report for the Listing, if available
    • “N/A” is the default entry if no CARFAX Report is available (Ex: Race Cars, Engines, etc.)
  • Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) Reports * (If Available for the Listing)
    • PPI Reports provide Confidence, Transparency and Reassurance to potential Buyers
    • Seller has three options: (Buyer To Provide is the default entry)
      • Buyer To Provide (If Buyer desires PPI, Buyer will obtain PPI within Seven (7) days or other agreed upon time-frame, as agreed between Buyer and Seller, of notification to Buyer of Winning Bidder status)

    • If Seller does not possess a current PPI Report, Exclusive may be able to help Seller obtain a PPI Report through our Partner Network
    • PPI Reports are not required but are highly recommended to enhance the likelihood of a successful sales outcome

    • Listing review process is normally completed within seventy-two (72) hours of initial Listing submission
    • If your Listing is accepted, you will be sent an email with an upload link and request for additional photos
    • If Exclusive accepts Seller Listing, Seller must provide to Exclusive: Proof of Ownership or Right to List and Sell e.g. copy of: title, registration, certificate of ownership, logbook, consignment agreement or other such documentation that substantiates Seller’s right to List and Sell the Listing

– Seller may adjust the Listing (pricing, text, photos, videos, etc.) during the Listing Period through Seller Dashboard (restrictions apply)

– Auction Timeline Options (3 Day | 7 Day | Custom Auction Options)

  • 3 Day Auction Option (Default Setting)
    • Auctions Start every Tuesday at 00:00 UTC
    • Auctions End Three (3) Days later on Thursday at 23:59 UTC

    • Custom Auctions run only One (1) time with No Auction Re-Runs
    • In the event the Auction ends and the Reserve Price has not been met (or no bids were received in a Reserve or No-Reserve Auction) Listing remains Live on the Platform for the remaining Listing Period with Bidders able to Make Offers through the Make Offer Button
  • Listings go to Upcoming Section on the Platform upon completion of Listing input and approval process for Reserve and No-Reserve Auctions
  • Listings go to Live Section on the Platform upon completion of Listing input and approval process for Buy Now / Make Offer and Hybrid Auctions

– Seller may adjust the Listing (pricing, text, photos, videos, etc.) during the Listing Period through Seller Dashboard (restrictions apply)

– Communication Management (All Communication between Bidders & Sellers is Managed & Monitored through the Exclusive Auctions Platform)

Facilitation Services are offered by Exclusive to help facilitate and complete a smooth Sale/Purchase transaction between Buyer and Seller

– Communication Management (All Communication between Bidders & Sellers is Managed & Monitored through the Exclusive Auctions Platform)
  • Bidder may submit questions to Seller through the Exclusive Auctions Platform
  • Seller has Seventy-Two (72) Hours to respond to Bidder questions
  • Bidder may submit Offers to Seller for Listings in Buy Now / Make Offer status through the Exclusive Auctions Platform
  • Seller has Seventy-Two (72) Hours to:
    • Accept Bidder Offer
    • Counter Bidder Offer
    • Decline Bidder Offer
– During the Live Auction Periods and through Buy Now / Make Offer:
  • A Bid that meets or exceeds the Reserve Price set by the Seller or any Bid placed in a No-Reserve Auction, received during the Live Auction Period, will automatically win the Listing and Seller must be able to deliver the Listing to the winning Bidder
  • A Bid that meets or exceeds the Buy Now Price set by the Seller, placed through Buy Now / Make Offer, will automatically win the Listing and Seller must be able to deliver the Listing to the winning Bidder
  • An Offer that is accepted by the Seller, placed through Buy Now / Make Offer, will automatically win the Listing and Seller must be able to deliver the Listing to the winning Bidder

– Winning Bidder is responsible to pay Seller directly or fund the Listing purchase (if Exclusive Escrow Services are utilized) in full within Seven (7) calendar days (or other agreed upon time-frame, as agreed between Buyer, Seller and Exclusive) of notification of Winning Bidder status

– If Exclusive Escrow Services are utilized:

  • Winning Bidder will be notified via email and/or text that they have won the Listing
  • Buyers Premium (if Seller selected Buyers Premium or Split Fees for Sales Success Fee Option) will be charged to the credit card on file of Winning Bidder immediately at the close of the Auction or accepted Offer by Seller
  • Sellers Premium (if Seller selected Sellers Premium or Split Fees for Sales Success Fee Option) will be charged to the credit card on file of Seller immediately at the close of the Auction or accepted Offer by Seller
  • Exclusive will email and/or text winning Bidder payment instructions
  • Winning Bidder is responsible to fund the Listing purchase In Full within Seven (7) Business Days of notification of Winning Bidder status or upon completion of all purchase prerequisites (or other agreed upon time-frame, as agreed between Buyer, Seller and Exclusive)
  • Buyer Purchase Funds will be held in the Listing Escrow Account until all purchase prerequisites have been met
  • Buyer Purchase Funds will not be released to Seller until:
    • PPI (if requested and not yet provided) is complete and approved by Buyer
    • If Buyer has requested and Seller has agreed to, an In-Person Inspection by Buyer of the Listing prior to consummation of the sale, Buyer or Buyer’s Agent has completed the In-Person Inspection to Buyer’s satisfaction
    • Seller provides proof of all required Listing ownership documentation (i.e. vehicle title, MSO, etc.)
    • Seller provides proof of payoff if Listing is currently financed
    • If Exclusive DMV / Title/ Registration Services are utilized, all pre-purchase DMV / Titling / Registration requirements are complete
  • Buyer Purchase Funds due Seller will be released to Seller prior to Seller releasing Listing to Buyer or Buyer’s Agent
– Sellers Premium (if Seller selected Sellers Premium or Split Fees for Sales Success Fee Option) will be charged to the credit card on file of Seller immediately at the close of the Auction or accepted Offer by Seller
  • Sellers Premium Example: If you place a winning Bid of $40,000 on a Listing, a charge of $2,000 (5% of winning Bid amount if Seller selected Sellers Premium for Sales Success Fee Option) will be placed on Seller’s credit card on file
  • Split Fees Example: If you place a winning Bid of $40,000 on a Listing, a charge of $1,000 (2.5% of wining Bid amount if Seller selected Split Fees for Sales Success Fee Option) will be placed on Seller’s credit card on file
    • A credit hold of $1,000 will be placed on Seller’s credit card on file to cover Seller’s responsibility in case of Seller’s failure to complete the transaction per the Terms & Conditions, Buyer Agreement, Seller Agreement, “How It Works”, Process, Services and FAQ Page(s) set forth herein
    • Any credit holds will be released upon successful completion of the transaction
